Reader Leaders

Reader Leaders 2023-2024

Purpose

The purpose of this group is to promote reading across the school. These children are in Year 6 and they were specifically chosen by their teachers due to their passion for books and reading.

They hope to share this passion with other children across the school.

Aim

Our aim for the year is to get the school library up and running again.

It was somewhat neglected during the Covid-19 Lockdowns and we have also had lots of new books donated. We are currently sorting and organising and hoping that we will be able to reopen the library during lunchtimes and after school later this year if our Covid restrictions allow this to happen!
