The Grove Primary School

What an amazing Harvest Festival for our Year 6’s! Reciting their poem and a harvest tale and singing their songs to parents at St John’s was an absolute joy. It was made even more special that parents could be with us.

Thank you to all the children for giving their very best throughout.

Both classes have thrown themselves into their learning, working to improve all the time. The book ‘Wonder’ has been the basis of much work this term including art work and writing - from a narrative to a Live News Reel - with the children producing some great pieces of work. They have also been focusing on the importance of variety to add interest and cohesion to their work.

This term has also seen the election of many of the Year 6 roles from House Captains to Sports Leaders, Librarians and Arts Ambassadors.
